Psychobilly originated in England during the 1980's from old school rockabilly. It's music was Rockabilly but with an evil dose of horror themes and a whole lot faster beat. Its subculture had many genres to it including a combination of rockabilly, horror, punk, Gothic, heavy metal, and blues influences.
